“I would like to confirm that my former husband and I were divorced in May 2019.”I initially chose not to highlight this fact as part of my parental responsibility to protect my children from slander and rumours.
“However I have now decided to give a statement on the status of my marriage because many of my friends and fans have been asking about it. “I have decided to clear the air on my marital status and my children are right behind me,” said Ruhil who was famous in the 1980s and 1990s.
Ruhil admitted that as an artiste she preferred to speak about her career and not her family, and accepted the end of her marriage as God’s will.
It was reported last Monday that Ruhil had chosen to keep mum over talk on social media that her marriage was over.
