KADUNA MASSACRE: The Need For Peace And Justice

We must sincerely commend the security measures and surveillance Kaduna State government has put in place since the sudden appearance of the ethnoreligious clash that has traumatized a certain number of innocent members of the state.

The proactiveness of the State Governor, Mallam El-Rufai Nasir towards restoration of peace and order in the state is highly commendable.

While we consider instigation of trouble and violence hiding behind religious or ethnic curtains condemnable and criminal, crime we must conglomerate efforts to combat effectively.

Security report has it that a certain number of suspects have been arrested during the cause of surveillance.

We however call on the security agencies and state government to drag these suspects to court, and try them without bitterness and sentiments.

At the end, we would have guilty ones duly sanctioned and punished, and invariably prevent others from towing the path of ethnoreligious controversy and atrocity.
