Lascelles joined League One team Stevenage in March 2012 on a loan basis for the end of the 2011–12 campaign. On March 13, 2012, he made his Stevenage debut, playing right back in a 1-0 victory over Oldham Athletic at home. He entered the game as a replacement in the 69th minute.

On April 14, 2012, he started for the first time as Stevenage defeated Yeovil Town 6-0 on the road. He headed in the team's fourth goal from Luke Freeman's cross.

In the same game, Lascelles also contributed an assist to Patrick Agyemang's goal. Lascelles renewed his four-year deal with Nottingham Forest on August 7, 2012. In the 2012–13 season, he made a total of three appearances across all games.
