It’s About To Get Messy In Big Brother Mzansi

Being in a House with strangers is challenging; it gets worse when you add ‘mess’ to the equation.

The Housemates all come from different backgrounds – others lived with families, partners, and alone before coming to the House. When you share a House, there are certain expectations like cleanliness. Not everyone has been pulling their weight when it comes to cleaning and we have seen arguments, fights, and even gossip around this.

The kitchen

This is the space where food is prepared and besides hygiene, it’s encouraging to cook in a clean kitchen instead of having to first wash dishes and clean up. Some of the Housemates have dropped the ball when it came to their kitchen duties and a lot of tension has come from this in the House.

The bathroom

We all know that a lot happens in the bathroom, so whether it’s replacing the toilet roll when it’s run out so the next person doesn’t have to struggle, or wrapping used feminine products (pads, tampons) and placing them in a bin or just picking up a brush and giving a scrub if you’ve left behind a mess, all these things count for a lot.

The bedroom

You rest the way your bed is made. Imagine after a long day of Wager Tasks or losing to Sis Tamara once again, you get to the room and there’s still an obstacle course of someone’s clothes to jump over to get to your bed.

Yes, we understand that not everyone will be Mary Poppin’s but just clean up after yourself and you won’t have to spend the whole day cleaning.
