Maduka Emilio Okoye is a German-born Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Watford and the Nigeria national team.
Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, has threw social media into frenzy immediately after the AFCON 3-1 win over Sudan on Saturday, with several Nigerian young ladies crushing on him.
The 22-year-old 1.97m tall shot stopper was the talking point as a result of his physique.
After the game against the Sudanese, several Nigerian guys criticised Okoye for his poor ball handling, but the ladies latched back in droves, in defence of the German-born keeper.
A Twitter user with the name @AriesQueeeenn said, “I don’t care if Okoye did not catch penalty, as long as he catches me when I fall.”
Grace Amankwah wrote “My fave Sunset in Lekki. Anyways Okoye dey enter my eye sha, abeg I close am ooooo.”
Another lady with the name Edu tweeted, “Dear Maduka Okoye. Please don’t forget to apply balm on your shoulders, they would not kill you for us. Keep catching the ball gracefully. Ball can come and go but your drip is eternal.”
Another big admirer of the goalkeeper with the name Na Ment said, “Me personally care about my baby Okoye than the match abeg.”
“Wish I was there to save the penalty for Okoye.. See fine guy,” Bittersugar tweeted.
Mary Bashua-Alimi simply said, “Maduka Okoye is hot though…”
Eager to know of the 22-year-old status, @thelordknowskay asked, “Does Maduka Okoye have a girlfriend? Asking for research.”
@babe_felicita said sahe would watch the match again to see Okoye, “That okoye is fine ooo. Face with tears of joy. I’m definitely going to rewatch that match to see him smile again.”
Is Maduka Okoye married?
Maduka Okoye has, for the most part, since achieving fame, never really talked about his girlfriend until September 2021.
Prior to showing off his girl last month, the Rotterdam goalkeeper had never been spotted with any girl.
However, it is clear that the Nigerian native now has a woman he can call his own after he posted a picture of himself and a lady in a black gown hugging each other.
A caption under the picture read “My Queen” cleared the uncertainty on whether the lady in question was his girl.
His Girlfriend name has not been revealed yet, and the angle of the pose makes it difficult to ascertain who she is. Nevertheless, from what can be seen in the picture, she seems very pretty.
