American actress and producer, Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon was born on March 22nd, 1976 at Southern Baptist Hospital, in New Orleans, Louisiana in the United States of America.

Witherspoon was born to John Draper Witherspoon and Mary Elizabeth Witherspoon. She shares the same parents with her brother, John D. Witherspoon.
