How To Get Your Kids Closer To God
“Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.” Psalms 33:20-21 KJV
There are many Children who do not think of God at all. All they do is watch television till daybreak and attend parties till dawn, but sleep off during church vigil programs.
Lots of youth are not proud to go to Church, read the Bible, attend fellowship meetings or serve God in any capacity. Most of them cannot even pray personally for five minutes. Many have never studied the Bible personally. What they lack is the eagerness of God. This is what you will pray for the lives of your own Children.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7 KJV
The zeal or eagerness of God is what brought Jesus to the world and establish His kingdom on earth. For the kingdom of God to be established in the life of your Children, they equally need the eagerness of God. Please pray for them earnestly.
LET US PRAY
1. Father, I thank you for the children you have given unto me and thank you because I can be called a mother/father
2. Oh Lord, please create in my children a new and pure heart for you in the name of Jesus.
3. Lord Jesus, please let your word find a good place to germinate in the heart of my children and let serving you be a pleasure to them
in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, grant my children the grace to be eager for you in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, please give unto my children, the genuine zeal for service in Jesus name
6. My Saviour, please win my children over now and don’t allow the devil to own them in Jesus name
7. Father, please see my children through as they serve you.
8. Father, please make my children’s heart your place of abode
9. Father, let the eagerness for you be the order of the day in my children’s lives henceforth
in the name of Jesus.
10. Power that makes children stubborn and hate God’s way will not prosper in my children’s lives
in the name of Jesus.
11. I shoot the zeal for righteous and holy living into my children’s heart now in Jesus name
12. Father, make the ways of my children please you in Jesus name
13. I unfriend any friend that will lead my children away from the path of righteousness in Jesus name
14. Father, make my children people after your own heart
in the name of Jesus.

15. Righteousness exalts a nation. Oh Lord please let my children be exalted in all their ways through righteousness in the name of Jesus.
16. Let the fire for serving God keep burning in my children’s heart in the name of Jesus.
17. I anoint my children especially now for service unto God
in the name of Jesus.
18. I anoint my children especially now for eagerness for the things of the Lord in the name of Jesus.
19. I pray that by mercy, everything that displeases God will be a no-go area for my children in Jesus name
20. As the Lord lives my children will always find their way back to God and they will be willing to serve God all the time
