Dillon Joseph Kidney-Quinn, a 2-year-old child from Mountmellick, Laois sadly passed away on December 26, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. The little boy passed away due to illness.

His devoted parents Ann and Gavin, big siblings Tyler and Daragh, Hannah, grandparents, Martin and Marie, Joe and Marion, aunts, uncles, and cousins, great-grandmother, as well as a large network of family and friends, will all miss him dearly.

Dillon Joseph Kidney-Quinn cause of death was an illness.

The Little Blue Heroes adored Little Dillon, who served as an honorary Garda of their Organization. The group shared their heartfelt condolences saying,

“Our hearts are saddened to hear that one of our Little Blue Heroes Honorary Garda Dillon Joseph Kidney–Quinn passed away unexpectedly on 26 December, surrounded by his loving family. We are so proud that Honorary Garda Dillon HG211 is and will always be part of the Little Blue Family.”

Laois-Offaly gardaí also sympathized with Dillon's family on social media tonight, as they said: “Heartbreaking news. Rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers with his family.”

Funeral Service

The Dillon Mass of the Angels will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Mountmellick's St. Joseph's Church. After that, the burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
