Bio – American professional boxer, Gervonta Davis was born on November 7th, 1994 in West Baltimore, Maryland.

In front of 12,000 spectators in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, on July 27, 2019, Davis defeated Ricardo Nez via second-round technical knockout to successfully defend his WBA (Super) super featherweight title.

On December 28, 2019, Davis made his first move up to the lightweight division and won the vacant WBA (Regular) lightweight championship by outlasting former unified featherweight world champion Yuriorkis Gamboa via technical knockout in the 12th round.

On October 31, 2020, at The Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, Showtime's first-ever pay-per-view event featured lightweight champion Davis defending his title against four-division world champion Léo Santa Cruz.

It was announced on February 24th, 2023, that Davis would take against Ryan Garcia on April 22nd in Las Vegas, Nevada. The eagerly anticipated fight would be a combined Showtime and DAZN pay-per-view event.
