Hickman was well-known for his hosting roles on both cable and local stations. He was one of the initial four anchors for CNN’s sports section, along with Nick Charles, Van Earl Wright, and Jerome Jurenovich. Hickman and Charles were well-known for their work as co-hosts of “CNN Sports Tonight.”
