FPE SUL DECIDES: FPE LITS AS DANLAB EMERGES SUL PRESIDENT
FPE press Reporter G.song gathered that yesterday’s FPE SUL election apparently is one of the most secured, peaceful and free and fair election in the history of the institution even after threats by some groups from various departments to disrupt the electoral process.
In a effort to drive at a free, fair and credible election which was accomplished, the directorates of students affairs was on toes in securing the security of electorates,concessant patrol by the proponent senior officers of the student’s affair from the Dean of students affairs Mr Adelabu, Dr ulabor, Mr. Adefisoye, Mr. ewe, Mr Fasuba and the likes With effective security inter-agency collaboration spearheaded by the Nigerian Civil defence and man 0′ war ,to combat deviances behavior inculcated by some students , some troublemakers, political thugs, desirous of causing crises were picked up at the FF block, BIA and at akogun hall.
Following the expiration of the tenure of the 2017′ Students Union Government officials, a successful election was conducted to elect new set of executives to man the affairs of federal polytechnic Ede student union leadership, a new set of 2018 Students Union Government Executives have been elected.
FPE PRESS Reporter G.song gathered that the Independent student electoral Commission seating in Federal polytechnic Ede , ISEC , on Thurday, yesterday declared the candidate of the School of Business studies in Federal Polytechnic Ede wole Daniel Alabi, as the winner of this year’s presidential seat for the post of FPE SUL .
At the end of the collation of results from all department ,the ISEC chairman in the School made this declaration at the collation unit at C25 inside the campus of Federal polytechnic Ede .
However reporter G.song gathered that DANLAB polled 1,839 votes to narrowly beat his counterpart TEEJAY of the School of Environmental who emerged as the runner up with a total votes of 1,743 while perfection of the School of applied Science emerge third with a total votes of 1,040.
Similarly, feminist LADE emerge as the SUL vice president with a total votes of 4,340, unopposed Toyakee and crystal won with a total votes of 4,290 and 4,212 respectively ,while for the post of financial secretary, Paparazzi defeated his opposing candidate excel by 2,414 to 2,007, subsequently towo emerge as the sport director and Don Richie and the social director with a total votes of 4,182 and 4,051 respectively,however unopposed Zeegold won the AGS race with a total votes of 4,034,for the welfare office SBS John Legend stole the day defeated his counterpart Aj Bouncing and shollystar, a massive victory with a total votes of 1,993 and loladex confidently defeated filometer with a smile aggregate total votes of 2,314 to 2087.
