FPE ALUMNI HALL OF FAME: FPE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION LAID A BEDROCK OF GREATNESS

Great things starts with small beginnings and Without continual growth and progress, such words as achievement, and success have no meaning.

FPE PRESS Reporter G.song gathered that the Federal polytechnic Ede Alumni Association is in the news again as the Alumni body under the Tutelage of Shittu B. Olaleye continue to serve with deep unalloyed focus on restructuring her alma mater.

Prior before now, the Federal polytechnic Ede Alumni Association in collaboration with the Department of Architectural Technology in the Institution organized a competition among the students of the Department of Architectural Technology, aimed to present,coordinate and supervise a suitable conceptual Architectural Design for the proposed Alumni hall of fame,this was thrown out to the students of Federal Polytechnic Ede, in a view of showcasing the academic excellence of the students of the schools .

However the Federal polytechnic Ede Alumni Association collaboration with the Architectural Technology Department dated back to 3rd of October 2017,was successfully completed with a two days powerfully packaged programme on the 3rd Thursday and 4th Friday, May 2018 of which the first day exercise saw the screening of participants by the Department of Architectural Technology and Arch. Abdulrasaq Aderemi and Arch. Omoaare Ebenezer who are both alumnus and highly commendable figures in their Architectural Field, formed the External consultant Jury committee,after a long fascinating display by the Architectural students, the best 3 framework for the Architectural Design emerged winners and was re-presented and showcased yesterday Friday 4th of May 2018 to the executives Management members,headed by the Rector Dr. John Taiwo Adekolawole.

Prize award of thirty thousand naira (30,000) was presented to the 3rd position, 2nd received fifty thousand naira (50,000) while the master prize of seventy thousand naira (70,000) went to morenikeji cornelius and his counterpart from architecture department.

Other dignitaries at the event are Registrar, Polytechnic Bursar, Polytechnic Librarian, Dean, Environmental Studies,HOD Architecture Department, Director of works in the institution, Sub Dean student Affair,NANS ZONE D Leadership,Student union Federal polytechnic Ede and the likes.

FPE PRESS Reporter G.song gathered that at the closure of the event the external consultant Jury committee opined that the best 3 winners are to work concertedly to produce the best of all that will create a focal point and an unimaginable space of reckoning.
