There was tension in Ede, Osun state as properties got burnt due to fire outbreak.
The fire outbreak which was reportedly occurs at popular Total market in Ede that results to damaged of house and shops. The cause of the incident had yet to be ascertained.
The fire outbreak was able to be quenched with the efforts of the the Iwo firefighter.
It was learnt that all efforts to get contact with Ede fire station proof futile, but later the Iwo fire station appeared at the incident spot.
But a crowd of onlookers which immediately gathered in the area hindered the work of the firefighters.
During the incident, it was reported that one of Iwo fire fighters driver got injured by angry youths and he was later rushed to nearby hospital, while the firefighter official truck damaged.
According to eyewitness who made it known to NAIJAPARRY that the fire fighter official came late that’s why the firefighters staff got stoned with their truck damaged.
As time of filing this report, there were no casualties in the incident.
