Federal Polytechnic Ede Graduates 10,733 Students (See Breakdown)
The Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun, on Saturday honoured 10,733 graduants of the institution during it 10th convention anniversary.
No fewer than ten thousand, seven hundred and thirty three (10,733) students were on Saturday awarded various academic certificates in both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) categories by the management of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede.
Dr John Adekolawole, the Rector of the Polytechnic made this disclosure during the 10th convocation ceremony of the Polytechnic held at the institution’s sports pavilion.
Adekolawole said 8,338 graduants with Ordinary National Diploma and 2,395 with Higher National Diploma were given awards.
In his words, he reeled out the various achievement of the institution in terms of physical infrastructure development, entrepreneural development, innovations and accreditation of new academic programmes by National Board for Technical Education.
He equally stated the challenges the institution is facing, which includes: inadequate man power, security breaches, infrastructural deficit among others, calling on the Federal Government, friends and partners of the institution to come to their aid.
Adekolawole, while felicitating with the graduands, maintained that the spirit of tolerance, high moral standard and dedication to duty will see them through.
