EPL: Tim Sherwood Names Players Man Utd Should’ve Signed, Wants Ten Hag Sacked

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Tim Sherwood has named two players Manchester United should have signed last summer transfer window.

Sherwood also wants Man United to sack their manager Erik ten Hag because he is not getting the best out of his players.

The Red Devils have struggled this season, having crashed out of the Champions League and have lost eight out of their 19 Premier League matches.

Ten Hag has faced criticism regarding several issues, including his recruitment and burst-up with players.

“I would have said two seasons ago that Tottenham needed a big clear out, but now they have a manager who is getting the best out of the individual players,” Sherwood told Sky Sports.

“What Tottenham did was change their manager, and the manager [Ange Postecoglou] they brought in has been the right answer.

“That is what’s got to happen at Manchester United. They need to change the man [Ten Hag] who is not getting the best out of the individuals on the pitch.”

Speaking about Man United’s transfer business, Sherwood added: “Why on Earth did they not push the boat out to sign Harry Kane?

“I know I sound like a broken record but players like Harry Kane and Declan Rice would have improved a lot of players at that football club and they would have made the manager look better as well.”
