The Nigeria international received a whopping 83% votes.
The 26-year-old also won the club's Goal of the Month award.
The forward's run and finish against Manchester United was voted for by most fans as the best for August.
Awoniyi got 38% votes to win the second award.
The striker has so far scored three goals and registered one assist in four Premier League games this season.
