eNaira Speed Wallet App Back On Google PlayStore

Nigeria’s digital currency, speed wallet App, which was on Wednesday pulled down from Google PlayStore is back online after 24hours of disappearance.

Following its launch on Monday, the App disappear on Google Store after over 100,000 users had downloaded it.

Daily Independent reported that before the App went offline on Wednesday, it had met with criticism as users struggled to link their emails and BVNs.

Reacting to the disappearance on Thursday, the spokesperson for the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Osita Nwanisobi said that the removal of the App was to help the apex bank upgrade the functionalities.

He said, “There is an upgrade going on at the moment by Google; try in the next few hours.” adding that the application is now back online.
