Lauren “Elle” Duncan was born on 12 April 1983, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, and is a television personality as well as an anchor, best known for her work with ESPN in which she hosts sports shows.

She’s covered numerous sports during her career, but mainly focuses on American Football, covering the National Football League (NFL).

After completing her high school education, Elle started her career as an intern in the Atlanta based sports talk radio show called “2 live Stews” which is a part of 790/The Zone. The show is hosted by brothers Doug Stewart and Ryan Stewart who is a former professional American Football player with the Detroit Lions.

She worked there for a year, and as more opportunities opened up for her, she then joined WVEE or V-103 in Atlanta, becoming a part of the “Ryan Camera Show”, giving traffic updates, and becoming an on-air personality. She also did sports reports for the “Frank and Wanda Show”, and hosted an afternoon show.

She also became a contributor, hosting pre- and post-game shows for the Atlanta Falcons NFL team and the National Basketball Association (NBA) team the Atlanta Hawks.

She did sideline reporting and also had freelance work with Comcast Sports South, mainly reporting on ACC and SEC football games with Comcast. In 2012 she moved on, taking a job with WXIA-TV also in Atlanta, working as a traffic reporter, but getting more exposure in front of the camera with the NBC-affiliated station.

In 2014, Duncan was hired by the New England Sports Network (NESN) to work as a host, reporter, and anchor.

The network is the primary broadcaster for several Boston teams, including the professional ice hockey team the Boston Bruins which is a part of the National Hockey League (NHL), and covering the Major League Baseball (MLB) team, the Boston Red Sox. NESN serves as the exclusive network for games of these teams not broadcast on a national network. With her work there, she also covered the NBA’s Boston Celtics.

Aside from her work in ESPN, Elle is also the host of the Adult Swim show entitled “FishCenter Live”, or FCL, joining hosts such as Dave Bonawits and Andrew Choe for the role in the show which has been running on the network since 2015.

She worked on the program “Change Shoes, Change Lives” and has done volunteer work, appearing in campus events.

She also did a bit of acting work, appearing as a news reporter for the film “Ride Along”, which stars Kevin Hart, Ice Cube, and John Leguizamo, following the story of a high school security guard who works with his girlfriend’s brother, a police officer, in an effort to prove himself worthy of his girlfriend.

She’s been in a bit of trouble in the past, as she was arrested for reckless driving and hit with a DUI charge – she was reportedly driving at a high speed, weaving across the road and nearly hitting another vehicle; a test showed that her blood alcohol level was over the legal limit. However, the charges were later dropped, and she managed to avoid any consequences for her actions then.
