Popular social media critic, Daniel Regha, has called on the Nigerian authorities to institute legal action and mete out punishments to women who get married to internet fraudsters aka Yahoo Boys.
He said they are willing accomplices and should be made to face equal consequences for supporting and encouraging cyber fraudsters.
Regha, who is often vocal about a variety of societal issues said the activities of Yahoo Boys and their co-conspirators is ruining lives.
He said; “There should be a legal punishment for ladies who date or marry yahoo boys; Many are accomplices and should equally be sent to prison for encouraging cybercriminals.
The war against cybercrime should be taken seriously because these people ain’t only a nuisance, but are also ruining lives.“
