Ede Poly Crisis: NANS Gives Ultimatum

The National Association of Nigerian Students has given the Federal Polytechnic, Ede  management an ultimatum of 72hours to resolve its impasse with the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic.

The Union gave the ultimatum through the memo released by the students’ body.

He said NANS would mobilise its members to the Polytechnic indefinitely at the end of the ultimatum until the issue is resolved.

He said: “It is ridiculous that Rector and ASUP have not found a common ground yet and this is leaving us with no other alternative than to do everything within our power to bring an end to the Polytechnic crisis.”

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) is giving both the ASUP and Management of Federal Polytechnic Ede an ultimatum of 72hours.

Ngnews247 reported that ASUP Chairman, Nurudeen Masopa after a Congress of the union held on the school campus on Wednesday, told newsmen that the union will not be part of any Academic activities until a the Academic Board is properly inaugurated again.
