Coy Gibbs Cause of Death
Coy Gibbs passed away suddenly in his sleep. Coy Gibbs cause of death was not revealed yet. Coy Gibbs, Joe Gibbs Racing’s vice chairman and chief operations officer, was in the Phoenix area on Saturday night to see his 20-year-old son Ty Gibbs’ victory in the Xfinity Series championship at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona.
After crashing teammate Brandon Jones at a race last week and depriving him of a chance to win the season championship, Ty Gibbs came under fire. After the race on Saturday, Coy Gibbs claimed that his son “doubled down and did his job” in the Xfinity Series finals after making “a tremendous mistake last week.”
Coy Gibbs remarked at the time that it was enjoyable to witness his son, one of their four children, win the race.
