Christmas: ‘This Excruciating Economic Condition Won’t Last Long’ – Osun PDP Felicitates With Christians

The Peoples Democratic Party, Osun State Chapter has sent warm greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration and asked them to endure the present economic hardship.

The major opposition party said Nigerians are currently passing through “the most excruciating and agonizing economic conditions ever witnessed in the history of the country in recent time.”

This message was released in a Christmas message by the state chairman of the party, Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo and made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Tuesday.

Adagunodo who expressed a serious concern about how moody everybody seemed to appear during the yuletide season said “it is sad we are all going through this situation together and advised that we must take the cognisance of the fact that we are in the present situation, not only in Osun but in the entire country for a purpose that is best known to God.

“We must not question the Almighty God because it was ordained by Him to be so because the Holy Books said time and season are in his care but we must also be vigilant to choose between good and bad choices whenever the opportunity presents itself to us.”

Adagunodo therefore appealed to the people of Osun State to be law abiding while searching for their daily bread and stay away from undue desperation because of the present economic hardship which he said is just a phase in their lives and it will soon fade away and better days are already at the corner.

Hon. Adagunodo also appealed to those who are in Government and Power, both elected and appointed ones from all political divides to remember that their four years tenure is just 1461 days which will soon fly away like kites and that whatever they do to the people while at the top of the ladder will count on them after office life.

Adagunodo also appealed to the citizens to wait for their time as God is the one who determines who will be in a particular position at his own appointed time.
