Cheslie Kryst aka Cheslie Corrinne Kryst was an American attorney, model, beauty pageant, and television presenter. She was born on 28 April 1991 in Jackson, Michigan, United States. Cheslie Kryst was born in Michigan to Polish American father and African American mother. She had four siblings. Her mother had previously won the contest of Miss Carolina.
Kryst earned a law degree and an MBA at Wake Forest University. She also worked as a civil litigation attorney. She has crowned Miss USA as Miss North Carolina in May 2019, she become the third woman from North Carolina to win Miss USA. She was crowned by Kaaviya Sambasivam, Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2018.
In 2019, she became a New York correspondent for Extra. In 2020, she received a nomination for the Outstanding Entertainment News Program at the 47th Daytime Emmy Awards. In 2020, interview with The Hilltop, Kryst spoke out for World Mental Health Day, offering tips on how she coped with stress. “There are three things that I’m doing with regard to self-care,” Kryst said. “No. 1, I try to set a regular schedule so my alarm rings every day at 6:45. I know that I’m getting up and I’m starting my day”, added “Two, I try to set very clear boundaries, so even though I’m at home and I’ve got my computer, my phone with me, I’m done answering emails at 6 o’clock, I’m not responding to messages. It’s over.” Third, she said, “I have a regular workout schedule that keeps my body healthy and my mind sharp.”
