How To Change Language To English From Other Languages: Did you know that you could change your language? I understand that this might be news in your ears, but it is possible. GOTV supports culture and language diversity that’s why the pay-TV company allows subscribers to change their language depending on preference.

As of now, GOTV supports only three languages; English, French, and Portuguese. The subscriber can choose to set a different language for display options and audio options. Here is how you can change the GOTV language from English to French, French to English, English to Portuguese, Portuguese to English, French to Portuguese, and Portuguese to French.

How to Change your GOTV Language to French/Portuguese/English

Follow the steps below to change the language to French or Portuguese or English;

  1. Switch on the GOTV decoder and ensure that it is properly connected to your TV set.
  2. After the decoder has loaded, press the GOTV button on your remote for the menu list to appear.
  3. Scroll down and select the “User Preference” option.
  4. Press Ok to select Language options.
  5. Under Display Language, press the right/left key button on your remote to select the language you prefer then hit the OK button to save changes. The display language will change immediately to the selected language.
  6. Next, scroll down then pause on the Default Audio Language option. Press the left/right key button on your remote to select the preferred audio language. Click the Ok button to save the changes. The default audio language will change.
  7. Also, scroll down to select “Alternative Audio Language”. Press the left/right key button on your remote to select the preferred alternative audio language. Click the Ok button to save the changes. The alternative audio language will change.
  8. After saving the changes, press the TV button on your remote to exit the settings menu.
