Ayefele Remembers Partial Demolition Of Music House, Describes Ex-Govt As Agent of Destruction

The popular ace musician and owner of Fresh FM, Yinka Ayefele has recalled the ugly situation that occurred at his N800m edifice, Music house in Ibadan.

In a post on his verified Instagram account, the singer expressed appreciation to those who stood behind him during trying times.

He described the past government of the state led by late Abiola Ajimobi as agents of destruction.

His message reads:

“On Sunday, August 19, 2018 agents of destruction strucked.

“The N800 million sprawling edifice of the music merchant, Yinka Ayefele in Ibadan was partly demolished.

“The State govt later rubbished her own claim to justify that dastardly act when it rebuilt the facility. To God be the glory. Appreciation to all those who stood by us during the trying times.”

ngnews247.com recalls that in 2018, the government of the Late Senator Abiola Ajimobi partially demolished the building which houses his popular radio station, Fresh FM Ibadan. The government had said the building contravened certain laws in the state. The ace Musician denied such.

The demolition was widely condemned by people within and outside the state. A development which made notable personalities in the state to donate money for the reconstruction of the building.

The matter was later buried after some powerful voices in the state including the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III intervened and the musician apologised to the government. The building was later rebuilt by the same government.
