In a telephone conversation with the Chairman Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Federal Polytechnic Ede chapter, Mr Masopa about the position of our prestigious institution as regards the national wide industrial strike.
He confirmed that ASUP has commenced strike and also affirmed that our dear institution has got no choice than to join the strike.
In his words, said the indefinite strike affects all programmes including DPT, RPT and Full Time running by the institution.
According to him said,
‘We are On strike, the strike is total and it is indefinite’
However, he was very sympathetic with the students community, in his tone, and prayed that the government meets ASUP’s demands/ needs quite on time, so that the strike will not be elongated more than unexpected.
