Asake Loves Recording Only If Olamide Is In The Studio – Ace Singer, Davido

International Afrobeats sensation, Davido has revealed that budding artiste, Asake loves recording only if is in the studio with him.

The singer and songwriter made this known while talking about how he got Asake to be on his latest album, ‘Timeless'.

Davido said he is a huge fan of the PBUY crooner, because of the manner he hit the limelight and dominated the music scene

He said that he loves the YBNL signee's style and decided that he needed him to hop on one of the songs in the album.

The DMW founder featured Asake on “No Competition”, one of the buzzing songs off the fourth studio album.

Speaking during an interview with journalist, Adesope Olajide, Davido said he did not reach out to the ‘Sungba' crooner directly, instead he compelled him to hop on the track by going through his record label boss, Olamide.

OBO said that he slid into Olamide's DM and informed him that he wanted to collaborate with Asake, so the rapper immediately asked him to send the song.

Davido added that he sent it to Baddo's WhatsApp but it could not be done immediately because he was on tour.

Also, the FEM crooner revealed that Asake loves to record when Olamide is in the studio with him, so they had to wait till both boss and signee were together.

DMW boss then said that after a week, the Yoga singer recorded his verse on it and sent the song back to him.
