Arsenal Set to Unveil Arsene Wenger Statue Before New Season

Arsenal are set to unveil a statue of Arsene Wenger outside the Emirates Stadium before the new season kicks off.

According to the UK Guardian, it will be unveiled on Thursday, August 3.

The North London club has been working on the commissioned bronze statue for a long time now.

And they want to have it ready in time to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Invincibles season.

Wenger is scheduled to attend a private ceremony, which will be held with family, close friends and Invincibles players for a special celebration.

The legendary Arsenal manager joins Thierry Henry, Tony Adams, Dennis Bergkamp and Herbert Chapman in having a statue outside the stadium.
