Rashard Anderson Death Cause: Rashard Anderson, an NFL cornerback who played with the Carolina Panthers, was an American football player who was born on the 14th day of June 1977.

The Panthers selected Anderson in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft, 23rd overall. He played in 12 games during his rookie NFL season and made 21 tackles. With 47 tackles and his sole career interception in 15 games, Anderson finished the 2001 season.

On May 23, 2002, Anderson was given a one-year suspension by the NFL for breaking their drug policy. After Anderson did not fulfill the prerequisites for reinstatement, the suspension was extended for the 2003 season. After the 2003 season, the NFL finally allowed Anderson to play again, and the Panthers immediately released him.

The Canadian Football League’s Calgary Stampeders and Anderson agreed to a contract in May 2005. When the Stampeders’ roster was reduced to the cap of 40 players for the regular season in June 2005, Anderson was nonetheless let go.
