Actress Motunrayo Adeoye Dies After Prolonged Battle With Chronic Ulcer

Motunrayo Adeoye, a popular Yoruba actress died in the early hours of June 1st after battling with chronic ulcer for a Long time.

The top yoruba actress was also a niece of the Alaafin of Oyo, Lamidi Adeyemi III. She was popular in hit movies like Thunder Bolt, Agogo Ewo and Kunle Afo’s Igbekun.

She was a graduate of Electronics from Osogbo Technical College, Osun State and also studied sound engineering in Switzerland, worked for BCOS Communication, Ibadan as a studio/audio engineer for 40 years. She later retired in 2010, to begin her acting career.

She has since been buried at her residence Akobo Ojurin, Ibadan, Oyo State, according to Islamic rites.
