FPE PRESS Reporter G.song gathered that it’s the time to celebrate the development that has come to Edeland since the monarch ascended, 10 years ago,as the Timi of Edeland, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, Laminisa 1, would on Saturday, March 10 mark the 10th anniversary of his coronation.
Similarly, Activities lined up for the one-week event for the celebration ,has started on March 3, which include traditional service at Timi’s Palace, special church service, cultural carnival/football and traditional games competitions.
However FPE PRESS reporter G.song gathered that On Friday, March 9, there will be a special Jumat Service and anniversary lecture tagged: REPOSITIONING THE TRADITIONAL INSTITUTION AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION IN CONTEMPORARY NIGERIA which will be delivered by Muhammad Sanusi II, The Emir of Kano at Western Sun International Hotel, Ede while Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola will be the chairman of the occasion.
At the grand finale on Saturday, March 10, there will be a book launch and fundraising for an ultra-modern palace for the Timi.
