2021 UTME Registration set to Commence, JAMB Announces Date

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Wednesday has fixed 8th of April, 2021 to commence registration for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry examination.

The long awaited 2021 UTME registration is set to commence as the date for the commencement of registration has been announced by the authorities of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB).

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Wednesday has fixed 8th of April, 2021 to commence registration for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry examination.

According to the Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin who made the announcement, the sale of forms will end on Saturday, 15th May 2021. He added that the UTME itself would hold from Saturday, 5th to Saturday, 19th June 2021.

The spokesperson said the Governing Board of took the decision after its meeting on the 22nd of March, 2021. He also warned added there will be no extension of time for the sale of the UTME/DE application forms.

JAMB warned that applicants must have their National Identity Number (NIN) before they can register for the examinations as it is part of the requirements for this year’s registration exercise.
